2m³ Skip Hire in the Winelands
A small bin for one room, one garden or one move-out. The 2m³ is the size to book when the job is finished in a day or two.

What fits in a 2m³ skip
The 2m³ skip is bought by the job it finishes, not by the number on the side. Here is what it is normally used for and where it stops being the right choice.
- A single room stripped out: cupboard doors, old flooring, skirting
- A small garden clear: branches, prunings, bags of leaves
- One student unit's move-out in Stellenbosch
- A bathroom's tiles and fittings, if the weight is acceptable
- A garage's accumulated boxes and broken furniture
The weight question
Volume is what the bin holds; weight is what the truck may carry. Rubble, soil, tiles and concrete are heavy, and a load can be at its limit long before the bin looks full.
A 2m³ of broken tiles or concrete can be at its weight limit when it is barely half full. If the load is heavy, say so and ask for the weight allowance rather than guessing.
Typical Winelands jobs for this size
A Stellenbosch student flat clearing at the end of a lease
A single-room renovation in an older Paarl house
A garden tidy-up on a small Wellington property
A Franschhoek cottage's move-out
Booking it
Send the job, the town and the date. The operator confirms that a 2m³ bin can be delivered to your address, what it may carry, and what the hire period is, before anything is dropped.
If the job grows, a swap to a 4m³ is usually cheaper than a second 2m³ standing beside the first.
One room, honestly measured
The 2m³ is bought by people finishing one job. It stops working when the job turns out to be two: a bedroom and a garage booked as one 2m³ will need a second bin, and two delivery charges cost more than one 4m³ would have.
Measure what you are clearing by eye before you book. If the pile is wider than a bakkie's load bin and taller than a wheelbarrow, it is a 4m³.
Before you book this size
Confirm three things with the operator: that the bin can be delivered to your address, what weight the quote allows, and what the hire period is. Every Winelands booking runs on those three plus the tip fee for the town.
The request
Request a bin for your address
The town and one line about the job — what you are clearing, the size, the date and any access constraint. The town decides which operator sees it, and the price comes back as a quote, not a guess.
- One form. No account, no card, no obligation.
- A local operator confirms the size, the hire period and the price.
- Nothing is dropped until you accept the quote.
The request desk is not the skip company: the operator who quotes you delivers and tips the bin. The footer of every page says the same thing.
